Critical care medicine -Anesthesiology Department is a new structural subdivision of the hospital, opened on January 01, 2008. The Department is equipped with the monitoring systems and anesthesia equipment well recognized in Europe and all over the world. Every day we use the newest inhalation hypnotics, which provide the qualitative anesthesia, lower the frequency of side effects and guarantee the prompt awakening. The modern devices of vital activity’s maintenance help in the critical care medicine work.
In the last years became popular and won the recognition the epidural analgesia during the labors, which is available on a twenty-four hour basis. 30 % of all the labors are delivered with the help of epidural analgesia; at that the newest most harmless local anesthetic drugs are applied.
The post surgical period becomes easier for the patients by means of epidural and intravenous anesthesia; in the case of need we provide PCA (Patient Controlled Analgesia).
